Hello! I'm Sara, the passionate chef behind The Wabi Nomad, where I bring sustainable and globally-inspired plant-based cuisine to life. My mission is to create nourishing and memorable dining experiences that enhance your retreat's transformative journey.
My culinary philosophy is rooted in a deep respect for the Earth's bounty and the culinary wisdom found around the globe. Travel is my greatest inspiration, fueling my passion for creating menus that reflect diverse cultures and flavors. I prioritize seasonal, locally sourced, and organic ingredients, minimizing waste and maximizing flavor. My menus are a celebration of my multicultural background, shaped by life in Southern Spain and London, and the countless culinary adventures I've embarked upon.
I've had the privilege of training under Bettina Campolucci Bordi's retreat chef academy, both in the UK and Bali. This experience has honed my skills and deepened my understanding of creating menus that support physical and emotional well-being. I believe that the food served during a retreat plays a crucial role in fostering a holistic and enriching experience.
