A bit about me

I have been catering for Yoga and wellness retreats since 2015, in Devon, Somerset, Scotland and Europe. When you connect with me I will discuss your requirements before sending a sample menu. You are then invited to send me feedback and any required changes before finalising a booking.

The nutritional value of food is a primary concern, as are the holistic health benefits and energetic effects of what we put into our bodies. We begin the eating process with our eyes, when we look at the food, therefore appearance, freshness,  seasonal and locally sourced food are of paramount importance. When we eat we need to feel good about what we are consuming and to nurture and heal ourselves with not only what we eat but the environment and the atmosphere in which we eat. Ayurveda views food as medicine and we really are what we eat.

A snapshot of my work

We've been so lucky to have Virginia cook for us recently on the Do Yoga Retreats. She's been an absolute joy to work with, supportive and calm and the food is divine. Most participants end up going home with her excellent book Sattvic Soul with a view to changing their lifestyle. Virginias food is a delicious and healing experience, it's totally recommended!
We had the pleasure of Virginia cooking on a recent retreat. I can not begin to say how amazing her food was!! Everyone enjoyed that was with us on the retreat.
The food was really fresh, some picked in the morning, you cannot getter fresher than that. All of the meals were satiating and delicious, every mouthful a delight. We would highly recommend Virginia Compton to be your retreat chef.
