A bit about me
Hello, I'm Caroline, founder of Brodie's Pantry.
About Me
I specialise in Plant-based cooking with a strong focus on seasonality and sustainability. As a self-taught chef, I've had the privilege of training under Bettina Campolucci Bordi at The Retreat Academy in London and Bali, where I honed my skills and refined my approach to creating nourishing meals. My journey into the world of wellness and food is rooted in my background as a former NHS nurse, which has deeply influenced my passion for health, wellbeing and the connection between food and the body.
My Food Blog (Brodies_pantry) on Instagram is a reflection of this creativity, allowing me to experiment with flavours, different cuisines, allergen and styles and storytelling as I often share recipes and the inspiration behind them. My favourite cuisine to cook is Asian, (Bold, Balanced and Soulful ). I love collaborating with clients to craft magical menus and memorable mealtimes, ensuring every detail reflects care, intention and a deep connection to nourishing the body and soul.
When it comes to cooking for retreats, one of the things I care most about is making sure every guest feels safe, seen, and nourished. I have experience working with guests who are dairy-free, gluten-free, nut-free, soy-free and more.
I'm based in a rural community in Renfrewshire, but I'm happy to travel across Scotland and beyond for the right collaborations. When I'm not in the kitchen, you'll likely find me walking my dog, watching my son windsurf or cheering my daughter at the football pitch.
