Food should be an experience, always vibrant, truly nourishing, earth friendly and bursting with energy – this is the concept at the heart of The Mindful Kitchen and the foundation for every meal.
Hi, I'm Bex, founder of The Mindful Kitchen.
I specialise in seasonal plant-based catering infused with Ayurvedic principles. I also train aspiring chefs through The Mindful Kitchen Retreat Chef Training Programme.
I cook from scratch, using high quality, organic ingredients, and strive to create as little waste as possible. Cooking is my joy and meditation so food is naturally infused with love and beautifully presented to uplift and inspire.
I have catered for more than 70 yoga and wellbeing retreats across the UK and Europe, and for high profile figures such as will.i.am and the Black Eyed Peas. I really understand the retreat environment and work closely together with hosts to co-create nourishing wellbeing experiences.
I have a diploma in Healing Diets Nutrition from the School of Natural Medicine and a diploma in Ayurveda Nutrition and Lifestyle from the School of Ayurveda UK. I am fully insured and compliant with health & safety regulations.
I really love catering in an intimate setting, where I can offer ultimate attention to detail to every meal, therefore I currently only offer catering for groups of 15 or less.
I am based in the beautiful vibrant market town of Hebden Bridge in West Yorkshire, and happy to travel for retreats across Yorkshire, the North West, the Peak District, the Lakes and North Wales. However I will travel further afield for the right collaboration.
