Plentiful and super tasty
The food was plentiful super tasty, with a good variety of different dishes served each day. You could taste the goodness and flavours from the fresh ingredients used. They portions were perfect for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The desserts were yummy, there was always a selection of fresh fruit too. The protein bites and little sweet offerings with our tea and coffee were delightful, just enough to satisfy our craving after a yoga session or other activities. All the food was healthy. I felt pleasantly full after every meal and thought I would put on a lot of weight, but surprisingly I lost a few pounds, which was a real bonus. Having good food is a big part of any stay away from home and more special as we didn’t have to lift a finger to cook it ourselves. So well done Kirsten. There are many chefs who could learn from your passion and flair for serving such good food and you did it on your own, which is no mean fete , as you were cooking for quite a large party, on our retreat. Plus you did it without all the under chefs helping. I give top marks 5/5 on my feedback for your culinary expertise. A memorable retreat made even better by all the lovely food you cooked for us.
