We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better chef for our Elysium retreat. From start to finish, the food was absolutely incredible… thoughtful, nourishing, beautifully presented and, most importantly, genuinely delicious. What made the experience even more special was the care that went into everything. Catering for a retreat isn’t simply about providing meals; the food becomes part of the experience, the conversations around the table and the memories people take home with them, and you understood that completely. Our guests absolutely loved the food, and having someone we could trust to take care of such an important part of the weekend allowed us to focus entirely on the people and the experience we were creating. Thank you for feeding us so beautifully, looking after everyone so well and being part of such a special weekend. We would work with you again in a heartbeat (we’ve already got 2027 planned!) and couldn’t recommend you highly enough. 🤍

Kirsten’s food is delish, palatable and inspiring! One of the things that stands out most about Kirsten is the way she makes every guest feel. Whether you have dietary requirements or not, every meal feels equally special, carefully prepared and full of flavour. There’s a real sense of care in everything she creates, and it adds a great deal to the retreat experience. I’m not sure where to begin; from the first point of contact to saying our goodbyes, Kirsten was exceptional. The most sweet, welcoming soul who was a dream to work with on my Cotswolds retreat. Nothing was too much trouble, Kirsten was extremely calm, accommodating and helpful.; her support invaluable. As for the food; exquisite. The combination of flavours, textures and recipes was adored by each and every one of us. We left feeling nourished with more energy, a glow and very full tummies. I couldn’t recommend Kirsten high enough; I’ve already booked her for our next retreat in Portugal!

I need to say the biggest thank you to the amazing Kirsten who nourished me & my lovely ladies on my retreat. I could not have asked for any more. Her food was totally delicious, from all our meals to the wonderful snacks & cakes waiting for us after class. Kirsten is such a beautiful person with the most amazing food. Kirsten works tirelessly to not only create the most delicious food, but to bring genuine care and warmth to every single meal she serves. One of the things I appreciate most about her is the attention and dedication she gives to dietary requirements, making sure everyone feels safe, looked after and fully included. Having her as part of our retreats is such a joy. You can completely relax knowing she will take care of everything with professionalism, calm and so much heart. Every menu feels thoughtful, nourishing and beautifully tailored to the group.

Kirsten’s food is amazing. So varied and exciting. We had her cater for us at our 4 day yoga retreat. Each mealtime was such a delight, everything tasted so delicious. Kirsten’s food was absolutely delightful. Healthy, delicious and nutritious. A very clever chef who can make such wholesome foods from vegan ingredients. I thoroughly recommend her.

The food was plentiful super tasty, with a good variety of different dishes served each day. You could taste the goodness and flavours from the fresh ingredients used. They portions were perfect for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The desserts were yummy, there was always a selection of fresh fruit too. The protein bites and little sweet offerings with our tea and coffee were delightful, just enough to satisfy our craving after a yoga session or other activities. All the food was healthy. I felt pleasantly full after every meal and thought I would put on a lot of weight, but surprisingly I lost a few pounds, which was a real bonus. Having good food is a big part of any stay away from home and more special as we didn’t have to lift a finger to cook it ourselves. So well done Kirsten. There are many chefs who could learn from your passion and flair for serving such good food and you did it on your own, which is no mean fete , as you were cooking for quite a large party, on our retreat. Plus you did it without all the under chefs helping. I give top marks 5/5 on my feedback for your culinary expertise. A memorable retreat made even better by all the lovely food you cooked for us. So Kirsten, thank you again.

Superb! The thought of plant based food for more than one sitting was a worry for me but I shouldn’t have worried. Loads of variety, very tasty and felt so nutritious. The food and Kirsten were a big part of my first retreat experience. Kirsten’s care and attention were Wonderful! Thank you 🙏

I’ve been on a couple of retreats now and experienced Kirsten’s food and it’s opened my eyes as to how varied and nourishing a plant based diet can be. Kirsten puts her heart and soul into her meals, she’s a wonderful person and works so hard. Kirsten’s meals are all really visually appealing on top of being delicious, she gets it right every time and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed everything of hers that I’ve eaten. Kirsten has kindly shared recipes in the past after retreats and they’ve always been easy to follow, it’s meant that there’s a few things I will make consistently on a weekly basis, such as energy balls, overnight oats, etc., and it’s meant that I’ve explored food options I might not have previously thought about when doing my weekly shop. Something that strikes me also, is how nothing goes to waste, Kirsten’s menus are really sustainable and it’s nice to see no food wasted, and a lot of clear plates at the end of a meal!

Kirsten’s food is to die for! I felt so well cared for on my recent retreat with Eat. Sleep. Yoga. She kept us all feeling full and happy and excited for our next meal! You can see and taste the care and love that goes into everything that Kirsten creates. Thank you so much! ❤️

Kirsten’s food was undoubtedly one of the highlights of my yoga holiday at Rosmarino Retreats in Italy. She is an unbelievably talented chef who nourished us throughout the week.

Every meal was nutritious, vibrant and full of flavour, not only good for the body but a joy for the senses! She managed to surprise and delight us and each meal was balanced and in tune with the energy of our yoga practice. I found myself excited for each mealtime wondering what beautiful creation would be waiting for is next.

It is clear Kirsten prepares each meal with love and truly understands how food works to heal, energise and uplift.

Wow! what can I say? Kirsten is just an amazing chef and beautiful person. So dedicated, working tirelessly from early in the morning until late at night to ensure she provides you with the most delicious, nutritious variety of food. Five days on the retreat and we ate a variety of at least 65 different plants (fruit, vegetables, grains, nuts & seeds etc). Remarkable. I came away feeling so healthy. She has shared some of her recipes which are easy to follow. She’s a real expert on health, wellbeing and gut health. She has certainly influenced my eating habits for the better. Highly recommend. Kirsten has been our chef on several retreats at Rosmarino over the last couple of years. She sets the bar high in every aspect of the job. The menu/thought/delivery of the food provision is outstanding.
Her nutrition knowledge is extensive and we’ve found our guests really enjoyed not just eating her food but learning about it.
Nothing phases her “on the job” including unexpected dietary requirements, a dishwasher breaking down on day 2, and a broken bone (yes, really).
I think anyone would be hard pressed to find a better retreat chef than Kirsten. Fact.

I have been lucky enough to enjoy Kirsten’s cheffing on two retreats in Italy now and the food has been absolutely delicious. Every day was different with a real variety of meals, baking and snacks and everything was fresh, tasty and reflected the region’s wonderful produce. I have a serious nut allergy and Kirsten prepared my food with care and thoughtfulness. Thank you!

This was my second holiday experiencing Kirsten’s wonderful cooking. Kirsten produces consistently high quality vegetarian feasts which everyone looked forward to. She used local produce and was so creative in her cooking and presentation. I wish I was still eating her meals!

Kirsten was just an incredible chef and lovely person. The meals were prepared with love and passion and everything tasted delicious with the use of fresh, seasonal produce, herbs and spices and desserts that melted in the mouth.

Working with Kirsten during 2024, I’ve chosen her again for my recent winter and for my upcoming Tuscany retreat and honestly, I can’t imagine working with anyone else. There is a magic combination she brings… innovative, nourishing and gut pleasing plant based soul food that carries the whole retreat, plus a sensitivity to your needs as the facilitator (day 4 wobble for me and she delivered a much needed hug by taking one look at me).
